ROM Hackers needed for Galaxy Angel Translation

Alright, I'm going to get to the point:

I need some ROM Hackers for a project I want to begin for Translating Galaxy Angel for the GBA; eventually, perhaps, the PC version too (Huge hopes). I have the ROM and can transfer it to anyone intrested (come to the Zophar IRC; I can talk to you and send it to you)

Unless you plan on doing any actual work yourself (managing won't cut it), you'll find next to no-one willing to work on this project for you.

So what you're saying is that because I'm arranging it and then getting my hands out of it, I won't get any help? That doesn't seem to make much sense. I do plan on hosting it and distributing it myself but I'm not going to fuck up the translation but trying to rom hack or translate by using altavista. Like I said, we just need some gba rom hackers.

Basically, all you have is a request. Whether you've meant to or not, all you've asked is: "Can you translate this game for me?". Unfortunately, it's hard to find a rom hacker without already having a translator, and vice versa. This is why you would usually being doing one of the two things yourself. Personally, I like the series would help you with the rom hacking, but I haven't done anything above NES games. I'll even check into it and see if I can make a table for it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

In my opinion, SNES games are actually easier... GBA may be a similar story.

I always start NES roms by making a table via relative searching. I have yet to get this to work with a GBA rom.

The issue here is what you'd actually be contributing to the project. If all you're going to do is get everyone together, get them to work, then release the fruits of their labor under your own name, you're not going to make very many friends. On the other hand, if you have something real that you'd be contributing to the project, i.e. translation skills, romhacking skills, programming skills, and so forth, then that's something entirely different. The problem here is that you haven't told anyone what you would contribute to the project.

It's nothing I'd have any interest in, mind you, I'm just trying to point things out.

I have a translator already, quite a few people from 4chan have offered their assistance in this matter, like I said I need a ROM HACKER, NOT a translator. I can find those at the flick of a wrist.

Also, I have no intent to release this with my name on it in any way, because I'm only doing distribution and hosting; probably only in DC++ channels and Torrenting on HongFire/4chan.

I can't edit the post anymore to stop this from happening, but like i said, I have a few Translators in line on 4chan.
