Pandora battery / Magic memory stick

ok, i think ive made a pandora battery, but dont know how to make a magic memory stick. I want to downgrade my freinds psp so he can play homebrew. do I need files specific to his firmware?

I want to instal a custom firmware on my psp, but i cant find really good instructions on the internet.If anyone could give me instructions how to make a magic memory stick and a pandora battery, without a second psp with CFW???
