Just Breed (Bad translation or something)

So i got the japanese rom and translation patch.
All is practically perfect with it "..Except!"
For the fact that you can't save.
Yes i tried different roms,Same thing.
I tried it on 4 different nes emulators, Same thing.
I have to use savestates to load my previous game.
I checked other roms that save and their saving fine on all emulators.
Can someone please fix this problem?

Did you try reading the readme file that explicitly states that most emulators will not be able to use the game's save system and that you should just use save states?
