3D rendered videos of how the Revolution controller is supposed to work. Draw your own conclusions. At least this time we get to see how it's supposed to work exactly instead of watching a bunch of paid Japanese actors stare at a TV we can't see.

It still looks needlessly complicated, but at least it's starting to look better.

Edit: Another thing, why is it 3D Rendered? Why isn't a real person showing us how this will work on a real game?

That sounded completely awesome until half a second later I realized what you were actually refering to.

I'd say it looks more like a prime candidate for the GC controller port. The remote is cool, but the games themselves need to be innovative in order to work with the innovative controller. If you've played Mario64 DS and tried to use the touchscreen to play, you should know what I mean.

Its exactly the same as the video with the Japanese people acting it out.

Still not budging on the "its utter shit" opinion.

I think you said everything that needs to be said right there....how the controller is supposed to work. I wanna see actual games in development for the system and the controller being used with said games.

Show me how its actually going to function.

I'll admit...I posted the first thing before I watched the video. I watched it and the controller looks like the most uncomfortable thing in the world to use. I cannot imagine gaming with that thing for hours on end.

If I get a Rev I'll use the remote for classic gaming and that is it.

Yeah, and that VR Studio Home Edition which Nintendo will release in 2020 will probably suck ass too. I'll just use it to play Super Mario 1-2-3.

Oh and yeah, could you send me that prototype Rev controller you have?

The hell are you talking about?

My point is that after watching the video, I really can't imagine using the wand/remote comfortably for hours on end. I like to sorta rest the controller in my lap when I play console games...not wave it around. Although I'll admit, I do look silly when I wave around my X-box controller.

And about the classic gaming comment, I was referring to Nintendos claim to offer downloadable games dating back to the NES days and that is a great idea.

I was just thinking, I probably can't even use it, none of my seating options are actually in front of the TV...

Not at all. I wasn't the one who posted the antagonizing "Y-A-W-N".

Eventually people will see past the big red shiny candy-like N and see how the Revolution controller is actually DE-evolutionary, not revolutionary.

Haha, you lazy bastard. I think it's a good step in the right direction. Let's face it, games are going to be more interactive as we head into the future of gaming-- and that's fine by me. I'd say one of the most annoying things about video games is the lack of actual activity. I dream of the day where I can play Zelda in a Halographic environement and get a workout doing it

I think the controller looks interesting, I especially like the idea of sword fighting or driving with it. Very clever/interesting concept, and I think it will spark the younger generations more than it will anybody on this forum dedicated to classic gaming.
